Dr. Wendy Shem Yeh
Dr. Wendy Shem Yeh received her B.A. in Physical Sciences from University of California at Berkeley in 1991. In 1996, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry having completed clinical rotations in Barbers Point, Hawaii and Boise, Idaho. Dr. Yeh has been practicing optometry for almost 20 years providing eye and vision care emphasizing family practice, contact lenses, medical eye care, and surgical co-management. She is excited to begin concentrating on her pediatric patients by providing vision therapy as well. Dr. Yeh began practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Honolulu, HI to join a long standing ophthalmology practice. In 2000, she moved to Southern California to manage a private optometric practice and provided optometric care throughout the San Gabriel Valley. Dr. Yeh is an honorary board member of the San Gabriel Valley Optometric Association and has served multiple terms as President and Director of Continuing Education. She is also a member of the California Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association Dr. Yeh has been a resident of the Pasadena area for over 10 years.
She currently resides in Monrovia with her family. She is an ardent supporter of the Pasadena Educational Foundation and is active with the Field Elementary Annual Fund serving on committee or as chairperson of the Field Annual Gala every year since its inception. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, traveling and taking her children to the beach.
Dr. John D. Tassinari
Dr. John D. Tassinari is a Cal State University Northridge Alumnus and a 1987 graduate of Southern California College of Optometry. He completed a residency in Children's Vision at State University of New York. Dr. Tassinari specializes in Vision Therapy and vision as it relates to learning and development. Dr. Tassinari has been in private practice for over 25 years. Currently, in addition to private practice, Dr. Tassinari teaches full time and serves as Associate Professor and Chief of Pediatric Optometry at Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry.
Dr. Judy Cao
Dr. Judy Cao, O.D., received her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) at California State University of Los Angeles and her Doctor of Optometry from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry. She completed her residency in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy/Neuro-Optometry at the Center for Vision Development Optometry, affiliated with the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. She is wholeheartedly honored to be the recipient of the COVD Award of Excellence in Vision Therapy, the Dr. John Streff Award, and the Dr. Robert Johnson Pediatric/Vision Therapy Award. She also received her fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. She has an immense passion in pediatrics, special populations, vision therapy and neuro-optometry and looks forward to providing optimal and compassionate care to each and every one of her patient. During her free time, she enjoys scrapbooking, snowboarding and spending time with her friends and family, especially her niece and nephews.
